Mandated Programs
The Lambda Kappa Kappa Chapter aims to uplift our community by leading and participating in programs designed to foster healthy minds & bodies, educational excellence, and a spirit of entrepreneurship and civic duty within all citizens of the Baton Rouge area. Below are just a few links showing the impact we strive for!
Social Action Programs
LKK participates in multiple community service projects throughout each calendar year. Programs include MLK Day of Service, supporting youth at the Emerge School for Autism, Thanksgiving Food Donations, Free Back-to-School Haircuts for youth, and "Socks for the Soul" clothing drive among others.
Our most recent community uplift project is a new, but necessary one - the "Heat & Hurricane Preparedness Initiative", where we worked with 5 local churches to provide box fans, battery-operated lanterns, batteries, first air kits, and cases of bottled water to elderly households in our area. We'd like to thank our corporate partner, Turner Industries, and all personal donors for their assistance in making the inaugural project a success! Here are some snapshots of the mission!
Here are just a few more photos of Omega men living their creed!
